Please read the first two chapters of Manifesto of the Communist Party by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Any edition is acceptable. It has been reprinted in many places. Among the on-line sources of this text, this is a good one. This is a link to the first chapter. Follow the link at the end of the page to go to the second chapter.
Have fun! This is one of the most exciting pieces of writing to come out of our target century.
